1.  We believe in the Holy Trinity. There is one God; but three distinct manifestations of Him. There is God the Father our Creator, God the Son our Savior, & God the Holy Spirit our Comforter and Guide. While the term “Holy Trinity” isn’t in the Bible, numerous Scriptures support the Trinity. Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17; John 10:30; I John 5:7
2. We believe that Jesus Christ is Head of the Church and the Head of every believer. Jesus Christ is the leader of the Body of Christ. It’s HIS Church. No man can genuinely claim “my Church.” Matthew 16:18; I Corinthians 11:3; Colossians 1:15-18
3. We believe salvation comes to anyone who truly receives Jesus as the Son of God and as Savior. Salvation is the free gift of God, granted by grace, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Salvation is available to any person who receives Him as his personal Savior. John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8-9
4.  We believe a sincere, yet simple series of steps down the “Roman Road” leads to salvation. Salvation is not hard; it’s about heart! Confession and belief is the foundation of salvation. “The Roman Road to Salvation” leads the lost to salvation. Romans 3:23; 6:23; 5:8;  10:9-10; Romans 8:1.
5. We believe in water baptism. After being saved, we believe it is very important to be baptized by immersion in water. Water does not save a person. Baptism is a public symbol that tells everyone that you have received Jesus Christ into your heart.
6. We believe the Holy Spirit joins us together as one with other believers. We are all different. However, if we’re saved we’re all Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Unifying the Body of Christ is one of the wonderful works of the Holy Spirit. I Corinthians 12:12-14.
7.  We believe the Holy Spirit is a real spiritual person who ministers daily to believers. We also believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers with gifts for service in today’s Church. The Holy Spirit ensures we’re equipped to do the work God has for us today, both within the Church and as individual believers. I Corinthians 12:7-11

8.  We believe that the Holy Spirit lives inside each believer. The Spirit of God inside of us verifies and validates the believer as part of the Body of Christ. Romans 8:9.

9. We believe every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit. To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to submit to the controlling presence and power of the Holy Spirit. This presence aligns us so that we will live in a way pleasing to God and productive for the Kingdom. The Holy Spirit leads us to lives of power, victory, and glory to God. Ephesians 5:18-20; Galatians 5:16-25; Acts 1:8; 2:4.

10. God uses We believe the Word of God is our roadmap on life’s journeys. the Word and revelation by the Holy Spirit to lead us, guide us, comfort us, direct us, encourage us, and to instruct us. II Timothy 3:16-17.

11. We believe that formal and intentional praise and worship of God is always in order. We should always praise God freely for what He’s done and worship Him for who He is. Psalm 46-50; Psalm 98:1; Psalm 100; Psalm 103; Psalm 150; John 4:23-24.

12.  We believe that the Church functions practically from tithes and offerings. Church is spiritual; but it’s also administrative. It takes money to operate the Church. The Church operates simply by obeying Scriptures and giving financially. It blesses the Church and it blesses the giver. Deuteronomy 8:18; Malachi 3:8-12; Philippians 4:10-17.

13.  We believe our Pastor is sent by God to feed us, lead us, pray for us, and give us vision. He’s not just a “hired servant.” God “gives” him to the local Church to lead believers in their walk with God. 3:15; Acts 28:20; Habakkuk 2:1-3; Proverbs 29:18.
